The Weston Foundation is a private non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts, and enriching and strengthening communities, particularly the most vulnerable and needy members of society. It was founded in 2007 and is comprised of a small governing board that designates grants each year to select institutions, and projects. Grant applications are by invitation only; the Weston Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals.
In the past, projects have served a broad range of endeavors of both local and international interest. We differ from corporate and large public foundations in that our members are able to spend a substantial amount of time researching and working on their projects. Therefore our resources can contribute to efforts of organizations that are sometimes overlooked by larger foundations. This website was made in order to aid in our communication with potential grant recipients, as well as document some of the projects we have been involved in over the last several years.
